The New Molten Collection maintains all of the incredible hand-craftsmanship that this motif has always employed but Michael has made new shapes that are more functional and new objects that support the casual yet elegant types of entertaining styles that people appreciate today.
For Michael, this is a very meaningful collection because it celebrates hand-craftsmanship at its most intense level. Every bead on every piece is an individual weld that has been carefully dropped in place by a very skilled artisan. Each item is visibly different from another because the beading changes subtly based on the individual style of the artisan that made it.
